    Srinivasapuram is situated in the southern extreme of Lalgudi. It's about a century old place and it is sub-divided as Srinivasapuram-North, and Srinivasapuram-South. The beauty of Srinivasapuram is the Perumal Temple which is located in the south street, and this street is identified as Perumal Koil Street. The temple has got a rich heritage, and has got lord perumal, Anjeneya, lordess Ambal into it, and the temple has got a pond.Currently the temple is under renovation, and the Maha Kumbabishekam date has been slated in 2010.The north steet has got a Ganesha temple, and the temple is adjacent & parallely located to the Temple. Srinivasapuram has got a k-6 govt.school, and has most of the people here belongs to the Hindu religion, and the people living here are employed in agriculture, local business,government organizations.
